On booth #1169 at NEXPO 2007 Sansui Software™, a leading provider of web-based self-service advertising solutions, will unveil the most significant upgrade of their popular PublishNow! product line in the company’s ten-year history. PublishNow! OPEN is a complete suite of modules for display advertising and publishing applications managed by the PublishNow! core engine in an open web-based architecture.

The new PublishNow! Ad Booking module provides a web interface for advertisers, sales reps, agencies and ad brokers to place orders for classified display, ROP and composite ads over the internet. The intuitive interface can be tailored to the specific needs of trade advertisers - for example in real estate, auto sales or recruitment - as well as transient advertisers who require a more simplified process with secure online payments.

Through adoption of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and provision of a Web Services SDK, the powerful on-line advertising and publishing capabilities of PublishNow! OPEN are open to integration with existing self-service ad portals, third part ad booking systems and back office systems. With this new environment Sansui customers and technology partners have now been provided with the tools and support to use the PublishNow! OPEN platform to develop custom interfaces, add-on functionality and integrate PublishNow! with complementary systems.

Using Adobe InDesign Server for on-line composition, the PublishNow! core engine can manage the complete advertising workflow from template creation in the studio, through ad booking, content creation, dynamic ad and image scaling, preflighting and proofing to sign-off and placement in multiple publications.

The self-service capabilities of PublishNow! OPEN yield significant benefits for both newspaper publishers and their customers.
